Today is a day of pride and happiness at the Zoharim Agricultural Youth Village, established by Israel Prize Recipient, Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman for youth at-risk.<\/p>\n

Each year, the youth village pupils work in the vineyards around the village, caring for, irrigating and cultivating the vines.\u00a0 Today, the day of hard but satisfying work arrived \u2013 the harvesting stage.\u00a0 This is a particularly happy day for the pupils who witness the fruit of their efforts.\u00a0 This is not the end of the process, rather it is the beginning of another stage in the production of delicious quality wine.<\/p>\n

Agricultural activity at the youth village is a challenge for the pupils, peaks their interest and it is very creative in nature.\u00a0 Youth village pupils who have just harvested the grapes share a sense of success when they see the product of their concerted efforts.<\/p>\n

The wine is wonderful as is their sense of self-worth, responsibility and\u00a0 hope.<\/p>\n
